I found a vbs script on the web named DIRWALK. I used it to create a script that generates an EXCEL file in CSV format with all directory info.
The DIRWALK algoritm walks through all subdirectories that 'radiate' from a starting directory
  • Place a copy of the file Create_CSV_w_All_FileDetails.vbs in your starting directory.
  • Then double-click on the script-file to start the script.
  • After the script has finished open the CSV with your favorite spreadsheet. I use Excel.
  • Then use all the powerfull database functions to search, sort and all the other stuff. Like AutoFilter :-)
